Though best known throughout the UK as a cricket announcer, John Arlott was a man of many interests, including poetry.
In the letter dated June 6, 1941, Arlott expresses his wish to John Betjeman that they collaborate on an anthology of topographical verse. Another contains a program from St. Patrick’s Cathedral for Holy Week services.
