| Autograph notebook. Bears note on first page in author's hand: "This book is limited to one c[opyright] edition of 1 copy and is signed and numbered by the author (as you can see)". Notebook is divided into four sections as follows: I Jazz for the N.U.F., II Other Lyrics, III Satires, IV An Extra Poem. Poems include: Le temps a laissé son manteau; Dehors, Dehors, il vous fault deslogier; La mort, Reine du monde; Les adieux du lépreux; Chanson à danser; Retour de mélencolie; In the cart; King Mark; Drifting; Anecdote from Picasso; After Gongora; Duet; Proteus; Storm-girl; Pythia; One is; The bear; Poem for an anthology of commonwealth verse; In school; knife-juggler; The hangover; ritten in my own book, given to Andrei Voznesensky, June 10, 1965; Psalm for Dr. Doppelganger; The lickspittle stanzas; Gallery-going. This slim collection of lyrics and satires has not been published as a group, although a few appeared in Towards Silence, Lucie–Smith's 1968 collection of poems. | |||||||||||||
