Biographical Note

Emma Kafalenos is the director of Undergraduate Studies and Senior Lecturer in Comparative Literature at Washington University in St. Louis. She received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Washington University in 1974. Her first book, Narrative Causalities was published in 2006.

The Emma Kafalenos Collection consists of correspondence from Henri Chopin to Kafalenos, sound poems by Jiří Valoch, and a program for Gentle Fire.
