- Reminder about Passwords! -
The library system has been consolidating passwords. You now will have the same username and password
for logging on to library computers, using the proxy service away from campus, using the ILLIAD interlibrary
loan system, and printing in the libraries. If you are having trouble getting your password to work, please
come by the Physics Library so I can help you with it.
- Reminder about Proxy Service! The
old proxy service is no longer being used. Please remove old proxy server settings if you have them. With the
new service,when you click on something which is proxied, it will automatically ask you for your username and password.
All links on the Physics pages have been updated. The library system is working hard to get all other links updated
as well.
- Model offers route to better solar cells - This
article appeared recently in IOP's nanotechweb.org about research being done
by Ramki Kalyanaraman and his team.
- Free workshops - During September and early October, the Arc in Olin Library is offering a number
of free technology workshops in the afternoons and evenings. They will be taught by Arc student staff and
cover a number of popular applications including Office 2007, Word 2007, Powerpoint 2007, Excel 2007, Adobe
Acrobat CS3, and Adobe Photoshop CS3. These workshops are open to anyone in the University community. For more
