• Library Catalog Improvements - The Libraries have subscribed to a service that provides full-color cover images and links to author notes, fiction and biography profiles, Publishers Weekly reviews, summaries and annotations, and tables of contents. This added info comes from servers at the vendor of the service, linked by the ISBNs on the catalog records. Not all records will have the added info, based on what's available on the vendor's servers.
  
  
• The American Physical Society (APS) has announced that the 50th Anniversary of Physical Review Letters occurs during 2008. They will mark the occasion throughout the year with many events relating to the overall theme: Moving Physics Forward. A new web site, http://prl.aps.org/50years, dedicated to the 50thcelebration has been launched.
  
  
• Math & Statistics Ebooks are now available on http://www.springerlink.com. You may find useful new titles available online. The books will have links added into the Library catalog.
  
  
• Please report any problems with fulltext journal access promptly to Alison Verbeck. This is the time of year when many titles stop working. The sooner we identify them, the sooner we can fix the problems.

• SciFinder Scholar is now available via the Web. However, it requires an individual logon, using a 'wustl.edu' email address. Use this registration form to sign up for your account. Also, since this is a secure site, accessing it from off-campus via the proxy server will give you a certificate error. Click continue or OK to access SciFinder via the web.
