  • Web of Science - Thanks to a joint purchase of the Becker Medical Library, the Social Work Library, the Law Library, and the Olin Library System, additional years are now available for Web of Science: you now have access to 1980 to the present, rather than 1988 to the present. This includes Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index.

  • Dissertations and Theses - The libraries will be changing to digital copies of dissertations in August, 2009. While details of the new process are still being worked out, this represents a big change for the Graduate School. Making the switch to digital will bring us into line with many of our peer institutions. It will speed the process significantly and will save the library staff time, shelf space and money. Electronic access will be available through Dissertations and Theses database.

  • Teaching and Technology, the ITeach newsletter, is now available online at http://iteach.wustl.edu/newsletters/fa08/

  • Attention Spring Physics course instructors! Please send me a list of books you would like placed on reserve. If you are keeping the same books for spring that you used for fall, let me know. You can use the Online Reserve Request Form, send me an email, or put a note in my mailbox. If you are making a web page for your class, you can link your page to the class' reserve list after I put the books on reserve. There is no need to retype them. Just ask me if you have any questions.

  • Recently published papers in Physics - The following papers were recently indexed by INSPEC and published by members of the Physics Department:
