- LibX Library
Toolbar - You can download this new toolbar onto Firefox or Internet Explorer
browsers giving you quick access to Washington University Libraries' electronic
resources. With LibX installed, all the power of the Washington University Libraries'
catalog, Worldcat.org, Full-text Journals A-Z List, Google Scholar, and more are just
a click or two away.
- Trial of CRCnetBASE - We are
currently running a trial of CRCnetBASE. This trial runs through December 20,
2007. CRCnetBASE will give us access to numerous fully searchable, online libraries
and databases, featuring some of the most trusted scientific and technical references
and resources in the world. One of the databases within CRCnetBASE is
PHYSICSnetBASE. "From astrophysics to
quantum physics, materials science to optoelectronics, this unified library offers
both fundamental theories as well as contemporary investigations of time, matter,
and space. It includes many volumes from the world-renowned Institute of Physics."
Please try out these resources and let me know if you are interested in them.
- Attention Spring Physics course instructors! Please
send me a list of books you would like placed on reserve. If you
are keeping the same books for spring that you used for fall, let
me know. You can use the Online Reserve
Request Form, send me an email, or put a note in my
mailbox. If you are making a web page for your class, you can
link your page to the class' reserve list after I put the books
on reserve. There is no need to retype them. Just ask me if you
have any questions.
