• The Physics Library will be closed on Friday, August 3.
  
  
• Office 2007: The public workstations in the Physics Library now have Office 2007 software. Many people have not done this upgrade yet, so to share files done in Office 2007, users may want to Save As > 97-2003 format instead of the new Office 2007 format, .docx, .xlsx, etc. Please ask if you have questions. Some major science journals are not yet ready to receive "manuscripts" in Office 2007 formats, so consider saving in the "old" formats until you check with your publishers.
