The West Campus Library contains superseded editions, some back runs of periodicals, additional copies of materials held in Gaylord, and lesser used materials that are available for use. The West Campus Library is open for use by anyone Monday through Friday 11am - 5pm. Items can be consulted on site or charged out with a valid Washington University Library card from the West Campus Library located at 7425 Forsyth Ave. Members of the Washington University music community may request materials to be retrieved.

Books and scores may be renewed unless held or recalled by another user. Any borrowed material may be held or recalled after two weeks. Telephone renewals are accepted at the circulation desk number, though email/webform renewals are preferred. (You can email us your renewal request at music@wustl.edu. Be sure to include your name and Washington University I.D. number, and the book's call number and barcode number.) Also, it is now possible for patrons to renew items for themselves using the View Your Own Library Record feature of the online catalog.
Email or webform renewal requests will be acted upon the first working day they are received. They can no longer be backdated to the date submitted, but any fine that accrues between submission and receipt will be waived.
Fines for overdue materials accrue at the rate of 20 cents per day per item. Overdue limited circulation, reserve, and recalled materials accrue at the rate of 40 cents per day per item. Items which are checked out to patrons for in-library use (Special Collections and non-circulating reserve items) will generate substantial fines (sufficient to cause suspension of borrowing privileges) if not checked in the same day they were checked out.
Patrons whose total fines throughout the Olin Library System exceed $15.00 will have their borrowing privileges suspended. Once suspended, the fines must be paid in full before privileges can be restored.
Borrowing LimitsFor each patron category, there is a limit on how many Audio/Visual items may be borrowed at any given point, as well as a limit on the total number of items borrowed.
