Biology Library ~ Reserve Request

Faculty of Washington University may request books and AV materials be placed on Biology Reserve for their classes. If you prefer to have materials on reserve at Olin Library (or some other library) because the hours or location are more convenient for your students, please use the general Course Reserve Request Form.

If a needed item does not appear in our catalog, please include as much information as possible in your submission. Requests that require purchase should be made as early as possible to allow enough time to acquire and process. In the event that a book is missing or lost, we will try to replace it or consult with you when that is not possible. Faculty may provide personal copies of their own books if they prefer or if the item cannot be purchased. Personal copies will be returned at the end of the semester with a barcode inside the back cover.

Photocopies of articles or chapters and links to online materials can be placed on reserve for class use, but usually those materials are distributed using ERes instead; more info.

Alternatives to this form: email your needs to biology@wumail.wustl.edu or mail printable reserve form or a list in any format to Biology Library, Washington University, Campus Box 1061, St. Louis, MO 63130-4899. Thank you!
