Consulting Rooms

Room Description
The two consulting rooms provide a space for Arc staff to assist faculty in planning digital projects. This includes advice on scanning techniques and standards, organization and description of data, and access options (database selection and content development).

Each consulting room contains a Windows computer and a scanner (Room A: HP ScanJet 4850, Room B: HP ScanJet ADF and Nikon Coolscan 5000 film and slide scanner with an SF-210 multi-slide feeder). The software found on the general machines is complemented by the addition of graphics editing and other specialized software.
