  3. Quick tips on searching
    • Use help?; truncation, boolean operators; Common keyword strategy (Catalog); Boolean Logic (PubMed); Ask
    • Use more than one search tool; try specialized sites or selective sites
    • Think about your strategy; choose unusual words; be flexible; learn from your results
    • Don't believe everything you read; consider the source.
    • Use FIND (ctrl-f) if your search words aren't obvious in retrieval
    • Web searching: guess URLs; right truncate URLs
    • Web searching and other "relevancy ranked" lists: examine only first 15-30 hits
