GPO Access
'The U.S. Government Printing Office disseminates official information from all

NTIS (National Technical Information Service)

subject areas from over 200 federal agencies.'
Geodspatial One-Stop
A service of the U.S. Department of the Interior, Geodata.gov is part of the Geospatial
One-Stop E-Gov initiative providing access to geospatial data and information. For

E-print Network
'A service of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Scientific and Technical
Information (OSTI)... reveals a wealth of valuable research mainly in physics but
also in chemistry, biology and life sciences, materials science, nuclear sciences
and engineering, energy research, computer and information technologies, and other disciplines.'
FirstGov.gov
The General Services Administration runs this site for the entire federal
government with "go-to" sites for state and local governments.
Consumer Information Catalog
As frequently seen on TV late at night or early in the morning. The publications
handled by the CIC in Pueblo, CO, tend to be government advice pamphlets on
growing roses or buying appliances. Academic libraries such as Olin tend not to
collect these publications, but ordering information for personal copies is
repeated throughout this site.
Business.gov (U.S. Business Advisor)
'Over 60 different federal organizations exist to assist or regulate business.
With this many sources of information, finding what you want can be complicated
and time-consuming. In keeping with the Administration's e-government vision of
using information technology to enable better customer service, federal agencies
worked together to build the U.S. Business Advisor, a one-stop electronic link
to the information and services government provides for the business community.'
