1. Getting registered and set up
- The WU Libraries are migrating to the WUSTL Connect in August 2009. You will use your WUSTL KEY and password to access all library accounts, including MyCatalog, using library computers, off-campus access, inter-library loan. To get started: WUSTL Connect

2. Come to the New Faculty and Graduation Student Open House and Reception:
- Where and when: Tues., Aug. 25, 2009, 3-5pm at Olin Library
- Meet your subject librarian Brian Vetruba
- Get a tour of Olin Library, demo of databases, chance to look at subject guides.
- Refreshments served.
3. Take a few minutes and look at the research and course guides
- Germanic Studies Research Guide: Library resources specific to Germanic Studies at WU
- Comparative Literature Research Guide: Library resources specific to Comparative Literature at WU
- Course guides for Germanic Lang. and Lit. courses
- Course guides for Comparative Literature courses

4. Sign up for Research Workshop for new graduate students in German and Comparative Literature
