Brings together into one resource Anthropological Literature from Harvard University and Anthropological Index, Royal Anthropological Institute from the UK. Provides extensive worldwide indexing of journal articles, reports, commentaries, edited works, and obituaries in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological, and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material culture, and interdisciplinary studies. Covers the core periodicals in the field in addition to local and lesser-known journals. Coverage is from the late 19th century to the present.
Anthropological Index Online (Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland)
The contents of this database are now included in Anthropology Plus, but Anthropological Index Online is still searchable.AIO indexes current periodicals in the Museum of Mankind Library (Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland), vol. 22- , 1984- . IBSS: International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (1951- )
"Online resource for social science and interdisciplinary research. IBSS includes over two million bibliographic references to journal articles and to books, reviews and selected chapters dating back to 1951. It is unique in its broad coverage of international material and incorporates over 100 languages and countries. Over 2,800 journals are regularly indexed and some 7,000 books are included each year. The Canela Indians of Northeastern Central Brazil (Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History)

National Park Service Southeast Archeological Center
Contains reports on fieldwork, including Native American settlements and Civil War battlefield sites. Other features include an outline of prehistory and a history of the region.
NOAA Paleoclimatology Program
Gives information on topics including paleoceans, lake sediments, caves, and ice core analysis. Also contains three documents describing the paleoclimatological perspective on drought in the North American historical record and abrupt climate change in the historical past.
