June 5, 2002--Level A: Two laborers chop at a seam and then wriggle free a section of ductwork. They use a propane-powered duct lift to support the duct and then to lower it out of the way of other pipes and duct.

June 5, 2002--Level A: A demolition crew lifts a section of old ductwork onto the conveyor belt from Level A.

June 5, 2002--south side of Olin: A mini-excavator dumps a load of debris brought up by the conveyor belt from Level A.

June 5, 2002--west side of Olin: To increase the size of Olin Library, the main level will be expanded out to the exterior column lines all the way around the building. Carpenters prepare for new concrete walls and floor to be poured for the main level.

June 5, 2002--west side of Olin: Two carpenters brace the sides of the form to withstand the pressure from the heavy concrete.
