October 30, 2002--Level A, Arc (Technology Center): An electrician pulls blue-coated wiring from coils and ties it into bundles before passing it through the access floor of the Technology Center. |

October 30, 2002--Level A, Arc (Technology Center): At a table saw, one carpenter steadies a long walnut board while another makes the cut. All of the woodwork in the Arc matches the cherry-finished walnut on Level B. |

October 24, 2002--Atrium: Piles of rubble from demolition of the walls on Level 2 & 3 fill the atrium floor. Walls of the atrium will be glassed in permitting natural light to reach reading rooms on every level above ground. |

October 30, 2002--Atrium: To keep the heat in Olin during the construction of the glass atrium walls, sheetrock walls were erected around the atrium at every level. A carpenter on Level 2 installs extra insulation to stop possible air leaks. |
