October 8, 2002--Atrium: The motorized lift sways as two sheet metal workers remove the old air flues from the edge of the atrium.

October 8, 2002--Atrium: After ripping off the ductwork, sheet metal workers stow it on the back of the lift which they will empty on their next trip down to the ground.

October 8, 2002--Level A: Before renovation, massive duct work passed from top to bottom of Olin through this shaft. After its removal, two ironworkers plan how to erect a platform in the shaft so they can build a ceiling/floor between Levels A and B.

October 8, 2002--Level B: To build a ceiling for this room, ironworkers secure the edges of a metal plate to the walls. An ironworker assesses the shaft from below and calls measurements up to his co-worker on Level A.

October 8, 2002--Level A, Technology Center: Plywood framing in the Technology Center indicates where finished millwork will be attached.
