September 10, 2002--Level A: In the southeast corner, stacks of bookshelves and cartons of access floor panels for the Technology Center fill the space of the open study area.

September 10, 2002--Level A: Framework for the ceiling is ready in the Technology Center. A floor layer cuts access floor panels for the edges of the rooms.

September 19, 2002--Atrium: A demolition worker in a lift, loosens a bolt to remove the last fragments of debris from the edge of Level 2. Air registers line the edge of each level.

September 19, 2002--Atrium: A worker sweeps debris off the ledge of Level 2. Terra-cotta block on Level 3, (above, to the left), is the next target of the sledge hammers. Rubble from the demolition is swept to the floor of the atrium where a mini excavator scoops and carts it to a dump bin.

September 19, 2002--Atrium: Across the atrium, carpenters have almost completed the temporary wall dividing the main stairway into "construction" and "pedestrian" halves.
