Newspapers in the Olin Libraries
A list of some of the U.S. and international newspapers to which Olin Library currently subscribes.  Search any newspaper title in the library catalog  to determine if the library currently subscribes or keeps any back issues.  Many U.S. and international newspapers are available on the Internet and are compiled on web sites such as the Kidon Media Link.

Newspaper Databases

  • LexisNexis Academic
    A subset of the Lexis-Nexis service that has full-text newspapers, including the St. Louis Post-Dispatch from 1989 to the present. More info
  • Global Newsbank (1996- )
    Contains full-text, comprehensive coverage of news summaries, broadcasts, and transcripts from hundreds of international sources.  More info
  • Newspaper Abstracts (1989- )
    Indexes over 25 regional and national newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, and the Los Angeles Times.  Includes abstracts.  More info
  • Ethnic NewsWatch (1990- ) (3 concurrent users allowed)
    A full-text collection of the newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press, covering many subject areas ranging from the more focused ethnic area studies to the arts, business, education, the environment, history, journa lism, political science, and sociology. More info
