Subject	Medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences. PubMed also includes some non-Medline citations, in various non-medical scientific subjects, which are added electronically by publishers.
Sources	Bibliographic citations and author abstracts from English language and foreign journals. PubMed updated weekly, with PreMedline and non-Medline records updated daily. For older information, see also IndexCat

Most Danforth campus researchers probably use PubMed/Entrez Medline." PubMed is most current because of PreMedline and non-Medline records. It includes links to publisher fulltext sites; the libraries have arranged campus access to many of these fulltext sites. PubMed also links articles to databases, such as protein sequence, DNA sequence, human gene catalogs, molecular structure, and genome. PubMed's Citation Matcher is a very quick way to correct incomplete citations. If you have a username and password, OVID has many advantages including excellent search interface, links to many fulltext articles and smooth access to many other databases. Print Counterpart (backfiles)	No print counterpart; much of the database is published in Index Medicus/Cumulated Index Medicus or International Nursing Index or Index to Dental Literature.

Access	Pubmed: On the web. Access varies for other options, for example, Ovid requires a username/password, SciFinder Scholar is for WU students and researchers only, etc.
