Directions to the Library
Olin Library is located in the center of the Danforth campus; you cannot drive up and park in front of the building.

The Danforth campus is served by both the MetroLink Skinker and Big Bend stations, as well as by MetroBus stops. See the Metro website for schedule and fare information. The campus is bounded by Forsyth Boulevard on the south, Skinker Boulevard on the east, Forest Park Parkway on the north, and Big Bend Boulevard on the west.

Visitor parking is conveniently located in the Danforth University Center Garage. The charge is $1 per hour, with a maximum charge of $5 for the day. Payment is required upon exiting the garage; cash and credit cards are accepted. Visitors may also park at any parking meter. Parking in other campus parking lots requires the purchase of a daily, monthly, or yearly parking permit. Cars without a valid permit in these lots will be ticketed.

Olin Library is located west of Brookings Quadrangle, east of Graham Chapel, and northeast of Mallinckrodt Center/Edison Theater. It is building number 77 on the Danforth (formerly Hilltop) campus map (pdf).

Directions to Library Systems
Proceed through the lobby and Help Desk areas and you will see a large staircase on your right. You can go down these stairs to the lowest level of the building (Level B) or you can take the elevator located near the entry to the staircase.

On Level B, proceed through the double glass doors into the area where books are shelved.  Immediately after passing through the doors, turn right. Walk past the public computers and the restrooms until you see a set of double wooden doors on your right.

Go through this set of double doors into the staff hallway and pass through a second set of double wooden doors.  Once through this second set of double doors, Room B29 will be on your left. You will need to knock on the doors to gain admittance.

If you have problems locating the Library, you can ask anyone on campus for assistance or call my office number ((314) 935-8087). Once in the library if you have trouble with the directions, go to the Help Desk on the entry level and they can call our office for us to send an escort.
