Hi,If you're interested in S.American internships, you might try contacting the Overseas Development Network (mailto:odn@igc.org). ODN is a national student based nonprofit NGO that focuses on grassroots sustainable development. There are also occasionally job/internship/study abroad postings on our mailing list (subscribe by sending SUBSCRIBE ODN YOURNAME to mailto:LISTPROC@VITA.ORG). During the school year, the mailing list serves as means of communication for almost 100 students of development from all over the US (only a couple international members currently- more encouraged). Members of the list are from several different disciplinary backgrounds and are at many different stages in their academic careers- from undergrads to newly credentialed MAs- so there is potential for diverse and interesting discussions.
If you have any questions about ODN, it's activities, membership inquiries, etc. please direct them to the address above mailto:@igc or visit our website at http://www.igc.org/odn
Cheers, Chip
PS CIE (mentioned below) also has a monthly mailing list which is an excellent source for internship/study abroad info, but I don't have the subscription details with me- try their website. ---------- From: owner-devel-l[SMTP:mailto:owner-devel-l@AMERICAN.EDU] Sent: 05 June 1996 17:56 To: Multiple recipients of list DEVEL-L Subject: Re: work study abroad
